The Most Dangerous Products Recalled in February

On this last day of the month, we bring you news of February's product recalls. The following products pose the most danger to consumers, and are listed by category.

Infant & Child
EVO Strollers: The space between the stroller's grab bar and seat bottom can allow an infant's body to pass through and get trapped at the neck, posing a strangulation hazard. The manufacturer advises consumers to replace this item immediately.

Dynacraft "Monster High" and "Hello Kitty" Motor Scooters: There have been reports of the scooters accelerating suddenly when in use, posing a fall risk to the user. The manufacturer advises consumers to return the product to either Walmart or Toys R Us for a full refund or store credit.

Tools & Household Items
Task*It 1-UP Folding Step Stool: The stool can crack or break and then collapse. A few minor injuries have been reported. The manufacturer advises consumers to contact them to receive a replacement stool.

Ryobi Cordless Tool Battery Pack: The battery pack can overheat and burst while on its charger, posing a fire hazard to users. Minor property damage has been reported. Consumers should immediately stop use and contact the manufacturer for instructions on free shipping and repair.

Sporting Goods
Liberty Mountain's Singing Rock Climbing Lanyards: The elastic webbing can deteriorate and break, putting climbers at risk of serious injury or even death. Consumers should contact the manufacturer for a replacement or full refund.

Middleton Siege Hunting Crossbows: This crossbow can fire unexpectedly when the auto-safety mechanism appears to be on and the trigger pulled, posing an injury hazard to the user and those nearby. The manufacturer also reports that the limbs of the crossbow can crack or break under normal use. Consumers should immediately stop use and return the product for a full refund.

If you, your child or another loved one has been harmed by any of these products (or one not listed here), you deserve fair compensation for your pain and suffering. Contact theNew Braunfels product liabilityattorneys at Kyle Law Firm today to find out more.
