This past week, the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce named Matt Kyle the Small Business Person of the Year. The announcement was made at a surprise ceremony in our office last Tuesday morning. Matt was genuinely speechless upon receiving the award-something that he says doesn’t happen often with lawyers.
The Chamber of Commerce also gave Matt a banner to hang up at the office proclaiming him the Small Business Person of the Year.
To be nominated for the award an individual must have owned his or her business for at least five years, employed fewer than 50 employees in the past five years and participated in making the New Braunfels community a better place.
Matt and other small business leaders will be honored this May during Small Business Week. You’ll also be able to see Matt on his very own float later this year at the Comal County Fair Parade.
